Introducing the Revolutionary Tixel Growth Factor Facial

Tixel growth factor facial

This new, non-invasive Imperial Aesthetics treatment is an extension of our current treatment menu that uses Tixel – a micro-channelling machine that uses heat (up to 400c) technology to infuse growth factors deep down into the skin. Tixel goes deeper than any other treatment, including micro-needling, to diminish fine lines and wrinkles, heal acne scarring, and improve the overall texture and radiance of the skin, among many more benefits.

Imperial Aesthetics is currently one of the few aesthetics clinic using growth factors with Tixel treatments, offering clients the most cutting-edge, skin-rejuvenating, anti-ageing treatment on the market.

What are growth factors and why are they important for skincare?

Growth factors are wonderful at repairing the skin, and for a glowing, youthful, and gorgeously plump complexion. Now, here’s the science! Growth Factors are found in abundance throughout the body and are large proteins that float between cells communicating crucial messages relevant to healing. In the skin, they play a role in the epidermal layer (the skin you see in the mirror) and deeper down, including the fibroblasts (collagen factories) and melanocytes (pigment-making cells).

Growth factors are also responsible for helping to reverse the visible effects of ageing and premature aging due to environmental factors. In multiple clinical studies, topically applied Growth Factors have statistically been shown to reduce the signs of skin aging, including a significant reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, and an increase in dermal collagen.

They maintain natural cell renewal and damage repair processes to keep skin healthy. The Imperial Aesthetics Tixel Growth Factor Facial uses growth factors to boost collagen production and to rejuvenate and repair skin.

The Tixel device is the most effective way to get the incredible, skin-transforming benefits of growth factors because inline using it in skincare or with micro-needling facial, the Tixel micro-channels it deeper into the skin for increased benefits, resulting in a fresh and radiant complexion.

Benefits of the Tixel Growth Factor Facial:

  • Youthful, plumper skin
  • Diminishes wrinkles and fine lines
  • Gives skin a glow and fades sun/age spots
  • May reduce the appearance of ‘crow’s feet’, wrinkles and fine lines
  • Brightens areas of pigmentation

Tear Trough Filler Treatment

Aesthetics Clinic specialises in crows feet

With the many restrictions that have occurred throughout the world in 2020 thanks to COVID-19, our regular beauty treatments, including tear trough filler treatments have been neglected, which has left us not feeling our best selves quite frankly! On top of this, we are forced to carry out many of our interactions online, in particular on Zoom calls, for our essential everyday communications. This has meant we are now faced with an unforgiving camera pointed right on our faces, making it unavoidable to see ourselves as we interact. The increase in video calls has resulted in self-criticisms for many, and a lot of people have begun scrutinising their appearance and feeling insecure and self-conscious about every fine line and wrinkle. This has led to an influx of people seeking cosmetic treatments, or back to work ‘tweakments’ as we transition into our new normal.

If every crease has been bothering you and it’s getting worse with every Zoom, it is difficult to know where to turn first, especially for an aesthetic treatment novice. A trim with your hairdresser and root touch up to cover up those nagging grey hairs might be an essential booking, but what about for your face? If you are curious about facial fillers and feel like they could boost your radiance, a tear trough filler treatment could be a good place to start, and you may not have even realised you needed it.

Tear trough filler is a hyaluronic filler that is injected underneath the eyes with the intention of adding volume below the eyelids. This combats a sunken appearance of the eyes that can happen with age, and which causes the appearance of dark shadows which can make you look tired, even if you are well rested. We’ve all heard of panda eyes, right?

There are many great things about this treatment that makes it such a great entry option for those seeking a non-evasive cosmetic treatment. The results of the procedure are instant and there is zero downtime, allowing you to get straight back into action, and feeling beautiful. The treatment only requires one entry point to allow it to get to all the intended areas beneath the skin, which in turn reduces the chances of bruising and swelling.

Tear trough filler is also longest lasting filler treatment out there, lasting up to 12 months, which ultimately means less appointments are needed and making it the most cost-effective filler treatment. Perfect in the case of a second UK lockdown.

So, next time you’re staring into that screen and feeling like you’d love a rejuvenated complexion, check out tear trough filler as a quick and easy fix to make you look brighter and awake and ready to take on any Zoom call!

Covid-19 Health and Safety Procedures

Aesthetics Clinic Chalfont St Giles

Our dedication to your safety is of the highest importance to us, and so your appointment experience will be slightly different than before. Here are some of the safety measures we will be putting into place:

·       PPE (personal protection equipment): PPE will be worn at all times. This includes face masks, visors and gloves which will be changed between each patient

·       Deep cleaning: Our clinics will undergo a deep clean every day and in-between appointments.

·       Staggered appointments: Following a usual thirty-minute appointment slot, there will be a thirty-minute break before the next appointment. This will allow time for cleaning and ensure that there is no overlap between appointments.

·       Staff testing: All our staff will be regularly tested for Covid-19.

·       Online consultations: We will be offering our clients online consultations before appointments. This will cut down on face to face time and allow clients to discuss treatments, discuss any concerns and ask any questions. Please be aware that there may still be a need for some face to face consultation time on the day.

To help assist us with ensuring your safety during your visit to our clinics, we would like to ask you to consider the following before making an appointment:

·            Symptoms: If you or anyone you live with have recently spent time with someone who has exhibited any Covid-19 symptoms, please contact the clinic before your appointment to reschedule. Please do not attend an appointment if you think there is a possibility you might be Covid-19 positive.

·            No chaperones: We ask at this time that you attend your appointment on your own. This is to ensure there are fewer people in the clinic. If someone has brought you to an appointment, we kindly ask that they wait outside the clinic.

We hope this addresses any concerns you may have, however, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions or concerns. These are unusual circumstances for all of us, and we would like to be there for you as much as possible.

Russian lips? Cherry lips? Contour lips? What’s the difference?!?

russian lips

You’d have to be on another planet to not have noticed one HUGE trend in the beauty industry in the last five or so years … Yes, we’re talking lip fillers or Russian lips! This rise in popularity can largely be credited to one particular reality star and her beauty transformation from having petite lips to plump lips. Yet even before that women were longing for the luscious lips of Angeline Jolie and now lip filler is helping women everywhere achieve this look without the previously used surgeries. Thus, this has led to thousands of women worldwide scouring the internet and in particular Instagram with the intention of joining the lip filler club.

When researching different lip filler options it seems there is constantly a new trend popping up as the ‘go to’ lip look. Examples of this have included the popular Russian lips, the Cupid Bow technique, Cherry lips and Contour lips. If you type any one of these trends into Instagram a whole flood of results pages come up with aestheticians who specialize in these areas. There different trends offer a different technique to fulfill a different image, for example offering a wider lip look or focusing more on accentuating the cupids bow.

This can leave a potential customer with a whole host of questions. Which type of lip should you choose? What’s the latest and best trend? What if your aesthetician doesn’t do it?

Well, whilst you may feel bombarded with all these different trend names you may feel more settled in the knowledge that none of these so called trends are anything new. They are all merely variations of what aestheticians are already doing, the media are just giving it a specific name. This has led some people to believe that you are able to choose the style of lips you want in the same way as shopping from a catalogue. So, if you find a reputable aesthetician and on their page it doesn’t specify a named style of lip filler, then it is not that they are not able to do them. Instead, a good aesthetician will work closely with you to find the best look to fit your face and allow you to look and feel beautiful. Because, after all isn’t that what we are all looking for?
